I promise not to capture or store your sensitive data.
Everything you type into the tools on this site stays in your browser. It isn't sent to me or to anyone else, and it isn't saved anywhere. That's the whole reason these tools exist: I wanted ones I could trust with sensitive stuff myself.
What that means
- Nothing you enter is sent. The tools run entirely in your browser. Files you open or drop in are read on your own computer and never uploaded.
- Nothing you enter is saved. No accounts, no cookies, no history. The only thing remembered is whether you prefer light or dark.
- No analytics or trackers, and nothing loaded from other companies' servers.
What the server does log
Like any website, the server keeps ordinary logs that a page or file was requested: your IP address, the time, which file, and the name of your browser. They roll off automatically after a few weeks, and I only use them to keep the site running and safe. They can't contain anything you type, because that's never sent.
To keep an eye on how the site is doing, a copy of these logs also goes to my own monitoring system, but with your IP address swapped for a scrambled code first. That lets me count how many different people visit without keeping anyone's address. That copy is kept for up to 30 days.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. Links from here don't tell them which page you came from.
Keeping the promise
The site is set up so your browser blocks the tools from sending anything out, and every update is checked automatically for this before it goes live. If this policy ever changes, this page will say so.
